Water Conservation Notice Ended – Important Update for Residents
The Township of Ramara and the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) wish to advise users of the Brechin and Lagoon City drinking water system that the Water Conservation Notice issued on April 2, 2025, has now ended (as of April 25, 2025).

TAKE NOTICE that Council of the Township of Ramara did consider repealing and replacing Fees and Charges Bylaw 2017.18, at the December 9, 2024 Council meeting. The updated Fees and Charges Bylaw is located on the December 9, 2024, agenda that was posted on Friday, December 6, 2024.
TAKE NOTICE that Bylaw 2017.18 was repealed and replaced by Bylaw 2024.88 on December 9, 2024 and requires a housekeeping amendment to attach to the below noted version of the fees and charges bylaw.

Ramara's 2025 Annual Aerial Mosquito Control Program Begins April 24
The program will cover areas of the Township along the shores of Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching, from the Talbot River in the South to Fawn Bay in the North. The purpose of the program is to control the mosquito population in the area.
As part of the program, helicopters will be flying in the area to apply the larvicide. Residents might see or hear the helicopters during the operation over the next few days.

Brechin Bulk Water Station - Service Disruption Notice

The Township of Ramara would like to notify users of the Brechin Bulk Water Fill Station that the station is currently out of service for repairs. Residents will be notified when the work is done and the station can be utilized.
We apologize for this service disruption and will update users as soon as new information is available.
Residents can learn more about Bulk Water Services, including alternative fill-up locations, by visiting the bulk water services page.
