Voting Day: May 13, 2024

Voting Period: May 6, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. until May 13, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.

Voting Proxies: Not permitted, as alternate voting methods are available.

Voting Methods In Person Paper Ballot

May 6, 2024 – May 10, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on May 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Load Restrictions Lifted!

The load restrictions effective on Township roads are NO longer in effect. Please note that the load restrictions are still applicable on County of Simcoe roads found throughout the township.

Road Tour Notice Monday, April 15, 2024

The Council Members of the Township of Ramara will be meeting on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Township Administration Centre, where they will be participating in a road and facility tour.

The road tour is a Closed Session meeting in accordance with Section 239(3.1) of the Municipal Act for the purpose of education and training for Members of Council to review certain roads and facilities of the Township of Ramara.

Ramara/April 5, 2024— In order to manage parking in high-demand areas, Ramara Council has approved the Parking Strategy for 2024. Starting from April 8, 2024, residents can purchase their 2024 Parking Pass.

Resident Permit Parking Program

The 2024 Resident Permit program will continue on April 8, 2024, at the following locations:

  • On all municipal roadways within Lagoon City (starting at the intersection of Ramara Road 47 and Simcoe Road).
