Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on August 24, 2023, at the Township of Ramara Municipal Office, 2297 Highway 12, Brechin Ontario.

The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day as soon as possible after 3:00 p.m. at the Township of Ramara Municipal Office, 2297 Highway 12, Brechin.

Notice - July 24, 2023 In-Person Council meeting

TAKE NOTICE that the July 24, 2023 Council Meeting will be held in-person only in the Council Chamber of the Township of Ramara Administration Centre, 2297 Highway 12, Brechin, ON.

The July 24 Council meeting will not be live streamed due to technical equipment failure in the Council Chamber. Staff are diligently working to restore the equipment as quickly as possible and livestreaming of future meetings will resume as soon as possible.

Noxious Weed Spray starts July 19

Noxious Weed Spraying along Township roadsides starts on July 19!

Under the Ontario Weed Control Act, the Township is responsible for controlling noxious weeks on Township property. There are 25 different kinds of noxious weeds found in Ontario, including wild parsnip and poison ivy, and these weeds can be found in roadside ditches, nature trails, and rural and residential properties. If you find noxious weeds on public property, please notify the Township by submitting your concerns online.
