The Ramara Township Economic Development and Trails Committee is looking for new members

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic members of the community to join the Economic Development or the Ramara Trails Committee.
Applications to the Committees will be accepted until Monday, December 2 at 12:30 p.m.

The Ramara Economic Development Committee

The Ramara Economic Development Committee (R.E.D.C.) advises the Ramara Council on local issues. The Committee offers advice on encouraging industrial, commercial, and residential development to create jobs and improve social opportunities in the Township of Ramara.

The Committee focuses on:

• Keeping and growing local businesses
• Encouraging tourism
• Marketing and communication efforts
• Research, development, and investment

The Ramara Trails Committee

The Ramara Trails Committee serves as an Advisory Committee to the Council on all matters related to trails and trail development within the Township of Ramara.

The Committee focuses on the following areas:

• Assessing community feedback regarding existing and proposed trail routes within the Township.
• Recommending the acquisition of key lands and assisting in identifying potential resources or funding opportunities (County, Provincial, and Federal) to maximize trail development initiatives.
• Overseeing the management and development of trails in Ramara.
