Historical Information
Ramara Historical Society
The group was founded in 2004 out of a desire to collect, research, document and preserve material illustrating the founding, settlement and development of the former townships of Rama and Mara, now known as the Township of Ramara.
Highlights include the Yesteryears celebration which includes a day long festival celebrating Ramara's past. You can also find members participating in various parades and fairs, often in period clothing. The group meets twice per month at the Udney Community Centre to share collections and listen to speakers on a variety of historical highlights.
More information can be found on Ramara Historical Society website.
