The Township has 104 kilometres of shoreline and maintains five public beaches that are located on Lake Simcoe. All beaches have unsupervised swim areas, so please exercise caution when swimming.
There are 13 parks in Ramara maintained by the Township that offer varying amenities from playgrounds, picnic pavilions, washrooms and a dog park to name just a few.
As well, within Ramara, we are home to two Provincial parks: Mara Provincial Park and McRae Point Provincial Park as well as other private parks and campsites. Check out Camping in Ontario for your one stop resource for all private parks and campsites.
In addition, the Trent-Severn Waterway is a historic canal that is 386 km in length and connects Lake Ontario and Lake Huron. Adventure to Lock 41 in Gamebridge that connects Lake Simcoe to the beautiful and historic Talbot River.
