Ramara Cycling Route

Welcome to Ramara's Cycling Route

Ramara's Cycling Route is broken up into two parts: Atherley to Lagoon City and Lagoon City to Brock. With future trail work planned to connect the two routes, please use the information below to help guide you through our beautiful municipality.

Atherley to Lagoon City

The trail is approximately 18 km in length and follows along quiet asphalt roads with some gravel areas. The trail passes through a mix of agricultural lands, lakefront communities and cottage country.

Trail Route

Travelling South

Start at the Atherley Trailhead

Travel east on Atherley Road
Turn to the right on Creighton Street and continue
Turn to the left on Balsam Road
Cross Highway 12 and continue to travel on Concession Road 11
Turn to the right on Sideroad 25
Cross Highway 12 and continue on Plum Point Road
Turn to the left on Melrose Drive
Turn to the right on Muley Point Road
Turn to the left on Concession Road 8
Continue on Sideroad 20
Turn left on Concession Road 7

Trail ends on Concession Road 7

Continue to Ramara Road 47 at your own risk.

Directions to Ramara Road 47 and Simcoe Road

Travelling North

Trail starts on Concession Road 7

Turn right on Sideroad 20
Continue on Concession Road 8
Turn right on Muley Point Road
Turn left on Melrose Drive
Turn right on Plum Point Road
Cross Highway 12 and continue to travel on Sideroad 25
Turn left on Concession Road 11
Cross Highway 12 and continue on Balsam Road
Turn right onto Creighton Street
Turn left on Highway 12

Trail ends on right hand side at Atherley Trailhead

Lagoon City to Brock Township

The trail is approximately 13.5 km in length and follows along quiet asphalt roads. The trail passes by Lagoon City - the Venice of Ontario - and ends at Thorah Centennial Park in Brock Township.

Continue on Ramara Road 47
Continue on Ramara 47 over Swing Bridge #50
Continue on ShoreLine Road

Trail ends at Thorah Central Park in Brock Township

Trail starts at Thorah Central Park in Brock Township

Continue on ShoreLine Road
Continue on Ramara 47 over Swing Bridge #50
Continue on Ramara Road 47

Trail ends at Ramara Road 47 and Simcoe Road
