Major Projects

We would like to thank the community for attending the open house held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where we discussed the Draft Recreation Master Plan and its key recommendations. The Draft Plan will be presented to Council at a future meeting.

The Official Plan describes how Ramara plans to accommodate future growth and development while meeting the needs of existing residents and businesses in the area. This summer, attend one of our Open Houses and a public meeting to share your views on the future of Ramara.

Ramara Council encourages residents to participate in local politics by attending or watching Council meetings. The public can present to Council through deputations or provide comments on agenda items through Open Forum!
Ongoing Projects and Initiatives

The Township of Ramara is preparing a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to help enhance economic development opportunities and business investment, create a sense of community and attract tourism.

Short-term Rental Accommodations within the Township of Ramara are required to obtain an annual licence to operate and are managed and enforced by Ramara's Bylaw Enforcement department.
