Sewage (septic) systems under 10,000 Liters per day are regulated by the Ontario Building Code. Any work done to, or that could affect the septic system requires a permit from the municipality. |

A new house is being constructed Proposed alteration that will affect the capacity of an existing system. Change of use that increases the flow of the building Relocating a septic system Installation, repair or addition of a sewage holding tank The system is failing Site grading or alterations in the vicinity of the septic system |
How do I apply for a Septic Permit? |
