Immediate Release
Ramara, ON/ March 28, 2025 – The Township of Ramara is launching its 3rd annual month-long Community Clean-up program to celebrate Earth Day on April 22. This initiative encourages individuals and groups to take action against litter and help keep our environment clean and safe.
“I invite all community members—residents, students, and local organizations—to join us for a month-long clean-up event in celebration of Earth Day,” states Mayor Basil Clarke. “By taking small but meaningful steps to care for our environment, we can truly make a difference in our trails, parks, and waterways. Let’s come together as a community and work towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for all of us.”
