Notice of the Adoption of Amendment No. 24 to
the Official Plan of the Township Of Ramara
Section 17 (22), Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990
Take notice that on November 27, 2023, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Ramara enacted By-law No. 2023.80 adopting Amendment No. 24 to the Official Plan of the Township of Ramara.
The purpose of Amendment No. 24 is to add policies to the Township of Ramara Official Plan reflecting the transfer of road ownership to the Chippewas of Rama First Nation (CRFN). Additional policy is required to ensure the properties fronting on the specific road sections are deemed to have frontage on an open public road. The specific road sections will be removed from Schedule B of the Township of Ramara Official Plan.
Amendment No. 24 will be available for inspection and review at the Township of Ramara Municipal Office at 2297 Highway 12, Brechin, during normal business hours and can be found on the Township of Ramara website.
Any person or public body will be entitled to receive the notice of the decision of the County of Simcoe, as the approval authority, if a written request to be notified of the decision is made to:
