Purpose and Effect:
The proposed subdivision application will accommodate the development of a forty-six (46) residential lot plan of subdivision within the settlement area of Athlerley-Uptergrove. The plan of subdivision includes blocks for internal roads and natural heritage features with associated buffer areas. The proposed lots will be serviced by individual private wells and sewage systems and accessed from Muley Point Road. The subject property is currently zoned Village Residential (VR), Village Commercial (VC) and Village Institutional with a Holding provision (VIN) “VR/VC/VIN-H” in the Township of Ramara Zoning By-law 2005.85 and the lots have been developed in compliance with the VR zone provisions. The subject property is designated a Village Residential Development Area in the Athlerley-Uptergrove Secondary Plan.

If a person or public body would otherwise have the ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of Ramara but does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Council of the Township of Ramara in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Council of the Township of Ramara in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Township of Ramara in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the Municipal Clerk of the Township of Ramara at the address noted below prior to Council rendering a decision.
