The Council of the Township of Ramara will be holding a Special Council meeting on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be held electronically via zoom.

1. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct three (3) public meetings under the Planning Act as follows: Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw Housekeeping Amendments to bring existing accessory residential unit and agricultural use policies into conformity with Provincial legislation and the County Official Plan policies;
2. Zoning Bylaw Housekeeping Amendment to update the placement and dimension requirements for Accessory Buildings in response to recent changes in the Ontario Building Code and Additional Residential Unit legislation;
3. Zoning Bylaw Amendment File Z-3/22 that will have the effect of adding an exception to the current “Agriculture (AG)” zoning to prohibit residential use on the retained lands subject to the severance of a surplus farm dwelling on lands known municipally as 3168 Concession Road 11.
