TAKE NOTICE that The Corporation of the Township of Ramara (the “Township”) will hold a public meeting on February 27, 2023 regarding its proposal to implement a Bylaw to Stop-Up, Close and Sell a portion of the unopened road allowance between 8122 Laidlaw Avenue and the travelled portion of the road more particularly described as Part 1 on Plan 51R-43907 and as shown on the sketch attached hereto as Schedule “A” (the “Lands”).
COUNCIL of the Township declared the lands surplus to its needs at its regular meeting held January 30, 2022 by resolution CW.06.23. However, Council may revoke the surplus declaration at any time prior to the conveyance of the land for any reason and may choose not to sell the lands.
ANY PERSON wishing to comment on the proposed stop-up, closure and sale is requested to submit comments in writing by 4:00 p.m. on the 27th day of February, 2023 to the Clerk of the Township at 2297 Highway 12, PO Box 130 Brechin, Ontario L0K 1B0.
ANY PERSON wishing to participate in the public meeting, please register online prior to 4:00 p.m. on February 27, 2023. Members of the public wishing to participate in the public meeting are requested to register as soon as possible in order to facilitate an orderly registration process and meeting.
THE COUNCIL of the Township will give consideration to all submissions received at the Public Meeting to be held February 27, 2023, followed by a further staff report on March 13, 2023 prior to proceeding with any proposed passage of the said Bylaw.
THE SAID BYLAW will come before Council for its consideration at the Regular Council meeting March 27, 2023. For additional information, please contact the Clerk of the Township.
