Ramara Township celebrates Parks and Recreation Month
Ramara/May 28, 2024 - This June, the Township of Ramara’s Recreation department is celebrating Parks and Recreation Month by offering a variety of events and activities for all ages.
In June, municipalities and community organizations promote the physical, social and environmental benefits of indoor and outdoor recreation and their various programs and activities. This year’s theme is 'Community thrives here,' focusing on the following weekly themes: Movement, Trailblazers, Guardians, and Connection.
“Residents and visitors to Ramara have many opportunities to participate in outdoor and indoor recreation activities and events. There is something for everyone here in Ramara from outdoor sports, trails, and parks to our indoor recreation programs, such as yoga, pickelball, arts and crafts and more! I challenge Ramara residents to get out, move and connect with new members of the community.”
~ Mayor Basil Clarke
