TAKE NOTICE that The Corporation of the Township of Ramara (the “Township”) will hold a public meeting on November 27, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. regarding its proposal to implement a Bylaw to Stop-Up, Close and Sell a portion of the unopened road allowances and the travelled portion of the roads more particularly described on Schedule “A” (the “Lands”).

COUNCIL of the Township proposes to declare the lands surplus to its needs at its regular meeting on November 27, 2023 following the public meeting.  However, Council may revoke the surplus declaration at any time prior to the conveyance of the land for any reason and may choose not to sell the lands.

ANY PERSON wishing to comment on the proposed stop-up, closure and sale is requested to submit comments in writing by 4:00 p.m. on the 27^th day of November, 2023 to the Clerk of the Township at 2297 Highway 12, PO Box 130 Brechin, Ontario L0K 1B0.

ANY PERSON wishing to participate in the public meeting online, please register online prior to 4:00 p.m. on November 27, 2023. Members of the public wishing to participate in the public meeting in person are invited to attend at the Administration Centre located at: 2297 Highway 12, Brechin, Ontario L0K 1B0.

THE COUNCIL of the Township will give consideration to all submissions received at the Public Meeting to be held November 27, 2023, followed by a further staff report on December 11, 2023 prior to proceeding with any proposed passage of the said Bylaw.

THE SAID BYLAW will come before Council for its consideration at the Regular Council meeting December 11, 2023. For additional information, please contact the Clerk of the Township.
